Homecoming Reminders

  1. It’s Homecoming Weekend! There are ​lots of activities taking place including a free Kingston Trolley Tour (sign up here), a special Saturday brunch at Leonard or Jean Royce and a Games Cafe in Watts and Jean Royce on Saturday evening. Please note that overnight guests are not permitted in Residences during Homecoming.
  2. Queen’s Gaels play the Ottawa GeeGe​e​s at Richardson Stadium in the annual Homecoming Football game​ at 1:00 p.m. this Saturday​! New this year: student cards are your ticket to the game! Just swipe your valid student card at the stadium gates.  There will also be free shuttles to the stadium from Goodes Hall starting at 12:15 p.m.
  3. The Campus Observation Room (COR) – a voluntary, confidential, non-judgmental place where students who have had too much to drink can come to sleep it off – will be open​ from Friday at 9:00 p.m. to Sunday at 7:00 a.m. Visit th​e COR​ website for details and locations.​​
  4. De-purpling stations will be available outside residence buildings – Victoria, Leggett, Leonard, Waldron and Jean Royce – if you are ‘purple’, please use these stations before entering buildings.
  5. Stop by Leonard or Jean Royce dining halls Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for the Homecoming BIG Breakfast! Alumni may be joining you in Leonard between 9:30am-11:30am!
