Room Type

Queen’s Residences are located on two campuses, Main Campus and West Campus. First year students are assigned room allocations based on several lotteries that run throughout the summer.  These lotteries separately assign different groups including Identified Scholarship recipients, Indigenous students and Athletic guarantees, health and other accommodations, Living Learning Communities, specific room types and shared room requests with preferred roommates.    The lotteries randomly assign students based on their individual preferences and priority groups.  Students may be assigned to a single, single plus, double, loft double, triple or quad room.
