Room Assignment – Returning Students

Returning Students:

The application for returning students is available on December 1st.  Students who fill in an application will have their spot held for 7 days in order to give them time to make the residence deposit.  Both the deposit and the application must be received for the application to be complete.  All of Smith House is available for Upper Year housing and we will fill the spaces on a first come, first served basis as applications and deposits are complete.

  • Availability is based on the number of first-year guaranteed enrollment applications
  • Building assignments will be in single plus rooms in Smith House.
  • You must submit a deposit of $525.00 by the deadline to confirm your acceptance
  • Room assignments will be available late summer and you will receive and email from Queen’s with your room number.  Please do not unsubscribe from Queen’s weekly emails as this is the email account that will send your room assignment.

If all spots are full, you are able to remain on a wait list as vacancies arise due to withdrawals or Don hiring.  Please contact reshouse@queensu.ca  if you wish to be on this list.
