Located at the corner of King and Collingwood, Brockington House was built in 1964 and named for Leonard Brockington, Queen’s 10th and longest-serving rector). Brockington House is situated next to the shores of Lake Ontario and houses just over 225 students on six floors.

Bedrooms

  • mixed gender environment with mix of singles, doubles, triples and quads.  Bedrooms range in size from 9.25 x 15 to 14.5 x 15 ft.- please note that bedrooms vary considerably in terms of size and furnishings

Services

Washrooms – three communal (but gender specific) washrooms/showers on each floor
Laundry – located on the lower level
Kitchens – a snack kitchen with sink, microwave and refrigerator is located on the ground floor
Bike Storage – a bike storage room is available on the lower level
Wireless Internet – available in the main common room on the lower level
Vending Machines – located on the main level

  • Indoor access to Leonard Dining Hall and Gord’s (retail food outlet in Gordon House)

  • A large common room on the main floor features a large screen television and access to a kitchen

Queen’s is building, and there are ongoing campus and city construction, renovation and maintenance projects occurring at or adjacent to a number of residences on main campus.  Prudent construction practices are followed, but there will be noise, dust and temporary interruption of some services on main campus throughout the school year, including during mid-terms and exams.
